Marc Obando was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and moved to the mainland to pursue collegiate soccer and new surroundings. He attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and earned a Bachelor’s of Health Science.
He furthered his education at the University of Northern Colorado with a second Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. He worked for a number of years as the Head Athletic Trainer of Women’s Semi-professional soccer club and local high schools in Colorado Springs, CO. He knew he wanted to pursue the medical field further and completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Cumberlands in Florence, KY. He moved to the PNW in 2022 with his wife to be closer to family and to begin his career in Orthopedics. He worked at a local Surgical Orthopedic practice assisting in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, total hip, shoulder, and knee replacements, and spinal surgical cases before moving into clinical Orthopedics.
Today, Marc works in Occupational Medicine and joined the Reflex to help patients with non-surgical approaches to knee ailments.
He is an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast that loves to travel whenever possible. He and his wife love to take out their self-converted bus and vintage boat on outdoor adventures and tasting as many local ciders as they can in the process.
